Turkey’s Black sea region starts to recover from the flood disaster.
Last week, devastating floods resulted from heavy rainfall brought chaos to Turkey’s Black sea provinces.
Flood-affected areas in Kastamonu, Sinop, and Bartin were declared disaster zones and the authorities quickly provided aid to people in need.
The Turkish Search and Rescue Team AFAD and The Ministry of Family and Social Services sent a total of 20 million liras to the regions.
President Erdoğan also announced that 73 million liras have been sent to the region so far.
Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines canceled all scheduled flights to Afghanistan.
Following the Taliban’s capture of the capital Kabul, the chaotic situation in the city has resulted in all commercial flights being canceled.
In the meantime, a special Turkish airlines plane take off for the evacuation of the Turkish citizens from Afghanistan.
The plane carrying 324 passengers safely arrived at the Istanbul Airport on Monday afternoon.
Turkey is currently in talks with all parties in Afghanistan, including the Taliban.

Turkish scientists develop a locally-made antibody testing kit.
The test kit called ‘’Quanticor’’ can measure antibody levels in the body in a short time, with ninety-five percent accuracy.
It can detect the exact level of antibodies that are formed both after the coronavirus infection, and vaccination.
The kit makes it possible to complete mass antibody tests in two weeks in a medium-sized city.
In this way, the kit will play a great role in determining mass immunity levels in the county.
National Women's Volleyball Team beat Romania 3-1 in its first match at the Woman’s European Volleyball Championship.
In the match hosted by Romania, the host team won the first set 25-23, and take a 1-0 lead.
After the first set, Turkey gained the upper hand by winning the fourth set 25-17, thus finishing the game 3-1.
